DocDistill collects no data whatsoever.
Its App Store privacy label is “Data Not Collected.”
No network access
DocDistill ships without the network entitlement. The app cannot make network requests at all and cannot upload a document even in principle.
No tracking or third parties
There is no account, no analytics, no telemetry, no crash reporting, no advertising, and no third-party SDKs. DocDistill contains no model weights and performs no inference.
Your documents stay on your Mac
Documents are read only when you select them. They are processed entirely on your Mac, and results are written only to the output folder you choose.
No extracted-text cache
Disk caching of extracted text is explicitly disabled. Extracted text is never left behind in a cache directory.
